What the official record shows
According to the MoSPI PAIMANA dashboard snapshot for May 2026, Delhi–Amritsar–Katra Expressway Phase I, Package XI had an original approved cost of ₹2,175 crore. The record lists cumulative expenditure of ₹941.19 crore. Its revised reported cost was ₹2,206.71 crore.
The reported revised cost is ₹31.71 crore higher than the original approved cost (1.5%). This numerical difference is not, by itself, evidence of a project overrun or its cause. The dashboard gives 14 November 2024 as the original completion date and does not separately report a revised completion date. These are officially recorded planning dates, not independently verified evidence that construction was completed on either date.
