Account & sign-in
No. Our reporting, public research tools and games can be opened without a reader account. An account is optional and helps you keep a personal reading list and game history.
Open Create account, enter your name and email address, and set a password of at least 12 characters. You can also use Google sign-in when available. Creating an account is free.
Go to Log in. Enter your email address, select Continue and then enter your password. If you originally used Google, use the Google sign-in option instead.
Visit Reset your password, enter the email address associated with your account and select Send reset link. Follow the secure link in the email to choose a new password.
Check your spam or junk folder and confirm you entered the address used for your account. Allow time for delivery, then request another link if needed. For persistent problems, email account support. Never send us your password.
The login page offers Google sign-in when its provider is available. If that option is unavailable, you can use email and password instead. Avoid creating a second account with a different email address if you want the same saved items.
Once signed in, open Account settings & security. You can update your display name, choose a profile illustration and set or change your password there.
Yes. Sign in and open Privacy & data in your account. The account deletion option removes your associated saved articles, game history and preferences. A separate Substack newsletter subscription must be managed on Substack.
Reading & research
Open an article and use its save control while signed in. Saved reporting is associated with your reader account, so you can return to it from your reading desk.
Visit Reading list in your account. If you saved articles before signing in, check the import options available in your reader account.
Game progress recorded to your signed-in reader account can be accessed across devices. Your My games section also offers an import option for supported results stored in the current browser.
No. You can browse Raisina Terminal, Ownership atlas and Market desk without an account. Individual datasets may have publication dates and third-party access limits.
Not necessarily. Market widgets can be delayed or temporarily unavailable, and research tables often contain dated observations. Each source's timestamp, reporting period and limitations matter more than the time shown on your device.
The Power Brief & subscriptions
Use the Power Brief subscription page on Substack. The newsletter is managed separately from accounts on theraisinapost.com.
No. Creating a Raisina Post reader account does not automatically subscribe you to The Power Brief. Email newsletter delivery and unsubscription are handled separately through Substack.
Open a Power Brief email and use its unsubscribe or manage subscription link. You can also manage your newsletter preferences through your Substack account. Deleting your Raisina Post reader account does not cancel a Substack subscription.
