How the Ledger works.

The Raisina Ledger assembles public infrastructure records into permanent, searchable profiles. The initial release contains 35 selected records from the Government of India's MoSPI PAIMANA Public Dashboard for May 2026, rather than the full national inventory.

Sources and scope

Each record retains the PAIMANA project code, sector, line ministry, original approved cost, separately reported revised cost where available, cumulative expenditure, and original and revised completion dates where available. Project titles have sometimes been shortened for readability; project codes provide the link back to the original government record. The original source can be consulted at MoSPI's Public Dashboard.

Interpreting the figures

All monetary figures are reported in crore rupees. Cumulative expenditure is not a physical-progress percentage. A revised cost different from the original cost does not alone prove waste or wrongdoing. A revised completion date does not establish that the project did or did not finish on that date. Project scope, accounting treatment, timing, and reporting revisions may affect comparisons.

Missing information

Where the dashboard does not separately give a revised cost or completion date, the Ledger says “Not reported.” We do not insert the original figure as a substitute. The original government data may have omissions, and the public dashboard can be updated or corrected without advance notice.

Updates and corrections

These pages are a historical May 2026 snapshot, not a live monitor. Later reporting periods should be stored as new snapshots, not silently overwritten. Automated monthly ingestion and change histories are not yet active. For corrections, readers should use the contact information on the publication's editorial policy page.
